Pro-Am Jack & Jill: Open (all ages & dance levels) Pick any of the RM5 Dances:  WC Swing, Hustle, NC2, Salsa, Cha Cha.  You may dance in 1, 2, 3, 4, or all 5 of the RM5 Dances. Random pick of your Pro-partner.

 

 

Pro-Pro/Pro-Am Routines (same competitive division):  Open (all ages & dance levels) This is a great competition to show off your skill level with a choreographed routine; Pro-Pro or Pro-Am pairing.

                        SHOWTIME CABARET

Showtime Cabaret :  Open (all ages & dance levels) This is the only competition at RM5 that is open to any style of dance: ballroom, latin, swing, hustle, hip hop, etc.  You may choose one dance, or a combination of dances, in one routine.

Example: a Bolero routine, or, a combination of Cha Cha and Bolero; a Swing routine, or, a combination of Swing and Hustle. This Division will be a combination of Showcase and Classic. Lifts and drops are allowed. Each routine must be a minimum of two minutes in length, and no longer than three minutes. Costumes are recommended, and will count toward scoring. This Division is for Pro-Pro and Pro-Am competitors.

 

 

                  Rising Star: (Amateur - No Pros) This division is designed

                  for the first time competitor, or, competitor who would like

                  to dance against Novice, Intermediate and Advanced

                  competitors. (You may be a Teacher, receiving monetary

                  compensation, but you may not be competing as a Pro in any

                  dance category). Each routine must be a minimum of two

                  minutes in length, and no longer than three minutes. Lifts and

                  drops are allowed. Costumes are recommended, and will

                  count toward scoring.

You will be judged on: timing, technique, teamwork, lead/follow, footwork, synchronized movement, musicality, personality.

Old School WCS, Cha Cha, Salsa, Hustle, NC2
